Agrod - Disc Milk Filters and Milk Strainers
Disc filters were the first filters the company produced by Agrod. Gradually increasing production capacity and adapting production equipment to this type of product, the company is able to produce any type of flat filter. The filters we produce are made of polyester viscose non-woven fabric. The material used has high filtration and strength properties. Filters are packed as standard in foil or cardboard packages of 100 and 200 sheets, or as required.
We produce filters in the following diameters:
- Round milk filter O 95 mm - It is used for small plastic strainers of our production /strainer capacity approx. 2 liters/. This size was introduced by our company to the market for the smallest farms producing milk.
- Round milk filter O 114 mm - Used for our plastic strainers /strainer capacity approx. 5 litres/. This size was introduced by the company to our strainers for small and medium-sized farms that do not have pipelines. ·
- Disc milk filter O 120 mm - This is the size used for metal strainers of the "milax" type, it is also suitable for plastic strainers of our production
- Round milk filter Ø 125 mm - It is also the size used for "milax" strainers, it is also suitable for plastic strainers of our production ·
- Round milk filter Ø 220 mm - Practically no longer used size, it can be used for "ulax" strainers
- Round milk filter 240 mm - It is a typical filter for "ulax" strainers

Milk strainers
- Plastic milk strainers are characterized by:
- Relatively low purchase price.
- High temperature resistance, allows disinfection by boiling.
- Durability at low temperatures in winter in milk storage rooms
- Resistance to disinfection and washing with caustic detergents.
- Easy to clean the strainers after each use.
- Stability on both the teat cup and the milk cooling tank
- Structural rigidity.
- It has a clamp holding the filter.
We produce milk strainers in two sizes:
95 mm filter strainer - It is a tiny strainer with a capacity of approx. 2 liters, intended for the smallest milk-producing farms. Its construction enables the filtration of milk into the milking tanks, however, the small capacity as well as the small filtering surface /filter with a diameter of 95 mm/ do not allow for quick filtering of a larger amount of milk. It has a clamp that prevents the filter from moving.
Strainer for filter 114 mm - It is a colander with a capacity of approx. 5 liters, designed for small and medium-sized farms without milking machines in line, for filtering milk into a milk jug or directly to a milk cooler. The design of the strainer is made in such a way as not to reduce the capacity of the bulb or cooler /stands on the bulb or cooler/, while maintaining appropriate stability /specially made edges and cutouts/. Appropriate profiling gives it high structural rigidity. The colander has a clamp holding the filter in the right position.
