Caps

The crimp cover of the jaws is made of aluminum for crimping and sealing. The cap gasket is a septum material that is pierced by a syringe needle to extract a sample from the vial. The cap liner sheet has various configurations and is also made of various materials.

Crimp Caps squeeze the septum between the rim of the glass vial and the crimped aluminum cap. This forms an excellent seal preventing evaporation. The crimp cap vial requires crimping tools to carry out the sealing process.

The cap material is a metal aluminum cover. The design with a 9.5mm hole in the center of the cover can be used for headspace analysis. Standard GC and HPLC sample bottles can be used for autosampler and sample storage.

Septa

20mm*3mm PTFE silica gel composite material features, silica gel protects the piercing of the injection needle, PTFE and reagent contact with high temperature resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance. There are two thicknesses, 2mm or 3mm, PTFE is about 0.1mm, and silicone thickness is about 1.9mm or 2.9mm.
