Canadyne ShoreBarrier - Air-Inflatable Boom
Canadyne ShoreBarrier Boom is an air-inflatable boom employing a full-length cylindrical buoyancy chamber. Hanging below the buoyancy chamber are a pair of internally interconnected cylindrical ballast chambers that are filled with water. The heavy ballast ensures a reliable seal in the intertidal area. Filling and emptying of all chambers is accomplished through large valves located in each compartment.

Canadyne ShoreBarrier Boom is a triple chamber boom for use in the intertidal zone. Water filled lower chambers provide ballast and stability on land. Air filled upper chamber provides flotation and freeboard in water.
- Triple chamber design for utmost stability on land and in water.
- Twin, water-filled cylindrical lower chambers provide a seal to the land on that portion of boom that is above the water’s edge.
- Single, air-inflated cylindrical upper chamber provides buoyancy and freeboard on that portion of boom that is floating in the water.
- High flow check valves for rapid filling and emptying.
- Optional Pressure Relief Valves, Optional Bottom Abrasion Strips
- High strength urethane fabrics, ASTM, Shotgun or Universal connectors.
- Ultra compact storage dimensions. May be stored on reels.
