AirLogics - Model SolarLite -Air Quality Monitoring System
The AirLogics SolarLite system is solar-powered, and therefore more flexible than the Classic.
Total VOCs (via a PID)
VOCs are measured utilizing portable photoionization detectors (PIDs). The PIDs indicate total organic compounds without differentiation of individual compound concentrations. The limit of detection is 10 parts per billion by volume (ppbv).
Particulates (i.e., dust)
Like the AirLogics “Classic,” the particulate meter on the SolarLite system detects dust by using infrared electromagnetic radiation to detect dust particles < 10 micron in diameter (PM10), < 2.5 microns (PM2.5), or detect a TSP value.
Dust monitoring can effectively be used as a surrogate for other compounds, such as polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
Weather
The SolarLite weather tower has the same capabilities as the one installed on the Classic, but the SolarLite system operates on solar power. It is configured with an on-board battery backup and a data logger allowing up to 12 hours of continuous recording in the event of power interruptions.
Live Dashboards
Our equipment transmits data in real time to a local computer or cloud-based server via telemetry. Users can log-on to our customizable dashboards to view and manage the data.

Continous Data Collection and Logging
The monitoring data is automatically archived and used to generate summary graphs—daily, weekly, and/or at project completion. The data is stored to an on-site computer and to a secure, remote server maintained by Air Logics or to a secure cloud storage location. The off-site, archived data provides redundancy of the collected dataset and offers clients convenient, remote access to project data via office computers and mobile devices.
