Cincinnati Fan - Model HDAF -Airfoil Fan for High Volume Air Delivery
FromSPX Technologies
Cincinnati Fan offers the Model HDAF Airfoil Fan available in 12 sizes with AMCA Class II and III construction, designed for efficient high-volume air delivery. Each model provides flexibility with two wheel designs and variable widths from 50% to 100%, ensuring performance customization with a direct driven fan. Four belt driven configurations further accommodate varied operational needs. This fan is suitable for AMCA C spark resistant applications, accommodating capacities up to 48,551 CFM with pressures reaching 21 inches SPWG. It operates at standard airstream temperatures up to 200°F (93°C) with optional configurations supporting temperatures as high as 750°F (398°C). Cincinnati Fan also ensures prompt availability of replacement parts, typically within 24 hours. The company's extensive support network includes over 170 sales engineers in 56 offices across the U.S. and Canada, underscoring their commitment to effective customer support and service. Most popular related searches

Cincinnati Fan manufactures 12 sizes of the Model HDAF Airfoil Fan in AMCA Class II and III construction. The Model HDAF is an excellent choice for the delivery of high air volumes at maximum efficiency.
All models are available with two wheel designs and in multiple widths from 50% to 100%, to deliver the exact performance you need with a direct driven fan. Four belt driven arrangements are also available.
This fan is available in AMCA C spark resistant construction.
PERFORMANCE RANGE:
- Capacities up to 48,551 CFM and 21″ SPWG
- Standard construction, airstream temperatures up to 200°F (93°C)
- Optional high-temperature construction, temperatures up to 750°F (398°C)
- All models available with housing and wheel widths from 50% to 100%, in 5% increments and two wheel types, to deliver the performance you need with a direct driven blower.
- Airfoil blade wheel is fabricated of high-strength steel to assure long lasting, efficient operation.
- Continuous welded housings, instead of lock seams, eliminate air leakage.
- Heavy gauge steel bases, with internal bracing, maximize rigidity and assure long equipment life.
- Blower housings can be rotated in 45° increments, on most sizes, to provide increased configuration flexibility in the field.
- Removable inlet & drive side plates allow for removal of blower wheel or motor, or shaft and bearings on belt driven models, without disconnecting inlet or discharge connections.
- Inlet side support ensures a minimal vibration housing.
- All fans receive a mechanical run test to ensure proper balance and alignment before shipping.
- Belt driven models include heavy-duty, grease lubricated, self-aligning, cast iron, and pillow block bearings selected for optimal performance.
- Fan shaft on belt driven models is turned, ground, and polished and receives a high-quality rust preventative coating before shipment.
- Arrangement 8 units come standard with shaft/coupling guard.
- Arrangement 9 and 9CB units come standard with belt guards.
- Arrangement 10 units come standard with weather covers.
- All models available with AMCA Type C, spark resistant construction. For AMCA Types A or B spark resistance, see Model HDBI Backward Inclined Fans.
- Increased Efficiency: Airfoil wheels provide the highest efficiency of all centrifugal fan designs. The static efficiency of an airfoil wheel versus a backward inclined wheel can easily exceed 10%. This benefit results in lower brake horsepower consumption and a reduction in sound levels of 2-6 dBA. Less expensive to operate and quieter.
- Multiple Wheel Selections: Each size and class is available in multiple widths from 50% to 100%, in 5% increments, and two wheel types, to deliver the exact performance you need with a direct driven blower. Complete design flexibility.
- Rugged Construction: Housings are heavy gauge steel and are continuously welded to prevent leakage. Fan bases are 7 and 10-gauge steel with internal bracing to prevent pulsation at all conditions. Less field problems.
- Rotatable Housing: Most models have housings that can be rotated in 45° increments in the field. Allows for field conversion without replacing the blower.
- Ease of Maintenance: Replacing a wheel, motor, or shaft and bearings on belt driven models, is easily accomplished without disturbing the inlet and/or discharge connections. Minimizes extended downtime.
- Quality Components: All belt driven models have self-aligning, cast iron, grease lubricated, pillow block bearings sized for a minimum 150,000 hours average life. All fan shafts are turned, ground, and polished and are coated with a high-quality rust preventative before shipment. Long dependable service.
