ALBUMIN

Serum, or plasma the samples can be stored up to two days at +4°C.

Children: 3.8 – 4.2 g/dl
Adults: 3.5 – 5.5 g/dl

The reagents are Stable up to the expiry date specified when stored at +4 to +8°C.

Mix well, then measure after 5 min. the absorbances of sample (Asample) and the standard (Astandard) against reagent blank at 630 nm (620 – 640 nm ).

If albumin concentration exceeds 6 g/dl dilute the sample and repeat the assay. Multiply by the dilution factor.
