SWT - Model ALT -ALTernating Aeration Cycles System

ALT ( ALTernating aeration cycles ) - Calculation / Verification / Simulation Procedure for Denitro / Nitro Purifiers with Intermittent Aeration Cycles  (in a single tank). It is a technological scheme very similar to the traditional CAS , where the nitrification and denitrification cycles are obtained through intermittent aeration cycles (ALTernati). The ALT scheme is often used to upgrade / upgrade traditional activated sludge plants). From the control point of view , the intermittent aeration process can be implemented through strategies based  or  on the  predetermined timing of cycles, or by  automatic control  using analytical instrumentation for on-line measurement of process parameters  (eg: OD, ORP, pH, NH4, NO3).
