Alumina

Alumina is one of the most widely adopted ceramic materials. It is composed of Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3), which is the chemical compound of aluminum and oxygen. It offers electrical insulation, high temperature and chemical resistance, thermal conductivity and also provides superior abrasion resistance. Purity levels for alumina range from 85% to 99.9%, supporting temperature ranges of: 100°C to 1600°C.
