• Control Description: Control allows function of the seat height activation, backrest adjustment, and seat tilt adjustment by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. • Base Description: Five-legged, solid cast aluminum base with caster-to-caster diameter of 28.7" and maximum width of 27.4". T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50-mm tapered hub (1° 26` 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of UNI EN 46100 aluminum with a robotically polished top surface to ensure quality and consistency.

This chair features a combination ISO 5 clean room / ESD static control performance package and is designed for use at 29"-34" high desktops and benches. It is constructed to provide continuity throughout the chair to the ground. Features include a generously proportioned, saddle-shaped contoured seat with waterfall front and internal seat board bumperguard, a roomy backrest with lumbar support and plastic protective panel, and a free-float articulating task control. This task control allows the seat and back to tilt independently with separate levers or lock into place. The seat can also tilt forward to accommodate forward-leaning tasks. Other control functions include a pneumatic seat height adjustment from 22" to 32", and convenient backrest tilt and height adjustments. The seat and back are covered with black Microcon vinyl upholstery to meet static control needs. The chair rests on a high profile 28.7” diameter wide aluminum base with attached drag chain, and dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist movement when the chair is unoccupied and are rated for static control applications. Metal parts have chrome finish. Components packaged under laminar flow clean room hood.
