AMI - Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers
AMI machines parts as simple as a bracket, and as complex as a hydraulic valve body. We us top-of-the-line equipment from manufacturers like Makino and Mori Seiki, which are capable of making parts up to 43” x 40” x 32”. At AMI, we have the equipment and staff to machine parts throughout the product life cycle (prototype, ramp-up, production, and aftermarket).
AMI utilized robotic cells to automate mid-high volume parts and pallet pools to eliminate setup time on low volume parts. No matter what your needs are, we have a solution that will offer high quality parts, on-time at the lowest possible cost.
TURNING CENTERSAt AMI, we have lathes capable of turning parts that can accommodate sizes up to 14.5″ Diameter x 21″.
HONINGOur ability to accurately hone and measure valves is one of the things that sets us apart from our competition. We routinely hold 2 microns on a bore. The three hones at AMI gives us the ability to hone 0.100” to 2.000” diameters.
