AML - Model MVP200 -Moving Vessel Profiler

MVP is unlike:

• Traditional stop-and-start profiling methods where data is only collected sporadically and at the cost of survey time;
• Entry level systems which are unable to provide real-time data or achieve full water column coverage;
• Limited systems that lack the ability to collect chemical, biological, and other oceanographic parameters;
• XBTs, which are single-use and only capable of measuring one parameter;
• Non-vertical profiling collection methods where data collected is not representative of water column behavior;
• Alternative solutions that lack automated bottom tracking;
• Non-underway profiling methods that force you to retrieve all other towed equipment (sidescan, magnetometer, etc.) just to take a profile.
