This test paper can be used for the detection of ammonium ions as well as for gaseous ammonia. The white paper turns brownish-yellow in the presence of ammonium ions or NH₃ . This test paper is specific for the determination of NH 4⁺. Limit of sensitivity: 10 mg/l NH₄⁺
