The AF12 sensor accurately measures particulates ranging from 200ppm to 10,000ppm, featuring Pyrex optics for consistent performance under industrial conditions. Alternative options include fire polished Quartz, Lexan®, or Sapphire optics. It utilizes a low voltage incandescent lamp for extended operational life. The sensor can be equipped with VIS blocking filters to eliminate color-related measurement errors or configured to measure color absorbance between 400nm and 1100nm. Designed for ultra-hygienic environments, it supports CIP and SIP cleaning protocols, with a material finish of Ra16 or better. Customization options are available to fit different process connections and line sizes. The patented EasyCalTM option allows for quick, online NIST traceable calibration. Air purge ports prevent condensate buildup on optical windows, while a patented window wiping system eliminates process buildup. FM and ATEX approved explosion-proof lamps are available for hazardous applications. Each sensor is pre-tested and delivered with detailed certifications for validated process compliance.
