Eurotest Laboratori s.r.l. was established in 1996 as an independent laboratory, with the primary objective of meeting the quality and reliability requirements of electronic and electromechanical products, as well as testing their conformity to the specifications of relevant international standards and CE marking requirements. In 1998, Eurotest’s laboratories were recognised by SINAL (now ACCREDIA), with accreditation number 0192.

In 2003, Eurotest extended its range of services, becoming a benchmark testing laboratory for certification testing, in accordance with ENEL standard DK5940, of 95% of the models of inverters for photovoltaic systems in Italy.

In 2007 Eurotest became the first SINAL-accredited laboratory - and one of the very first in the world - to perform tests and measurements for the approval of photovoltaic modules in accordance with IEC61646, IEC61215 and IEC 61730.

Confirming its international scope in the field of renewable energy, in 2009 Eurotest became a CBTL (IECEE CB scheme for the photovoltaic sector) for TÜV InterCert GmbH.

In order to meet growing customer demand, in 2010 Eurotest moved to its current headquarters in Brugine, expanding the space available and building new infrastructure.

In 2011, Eurotest further consolidated its expertise in the photovoltaic sector by obtaining ACCREDIA accreditation for tests on concentrating photovoltaic modules (CPV), in accordance with IEC 62108.

In 2013, Eurotest further extended the range of services in the Renewable energy field by getting CEI-021 and CEI-016 (Italian standards) accreditation for solar systems power converters.

In 2015, Eurotest has been recognised as Participant in the UL Third Party Laboratory Data Program (File nr.: DA2574), according to UL and CSA 60730.

In the same year, Eurotest has been recognised as Qualified Laboratory (registration code IT01) from ACAE (italian certification association), a founding member of LOVAG (Low Voltage Agreement Group), whose basic aim is the harmonization of testing and certification of industrial low voltage equipment.
