Zenit Ambiente - Model AR/70 -Anti Pollution Containment Boom
AR/70 is the special boom designed especially for the protection from pollution in coastal tracts, docks and marinas. The boom, thanks to an excellent weight to buoyancy ratio, can perfectly adapt to the wave motion, and guarantees good containment even in adverse conditions. It is built in strong polyester fabric and coated on both sides by PVC mix, that guarantees high resistance in time. The product has been designed to avoid grips and obstacles to possible waste build-up, and the buoyancy and ballast system is positioned only on one side, so that the opposite side guarantees an easy sliding of the pollutants.
MAINTENANCE
Given the simplicity of the boom and the quality of the materials used, AR/70 does not require special maintenance. It is however essential, after each use, to provide a thorough cleaning before garaging. In any occasion, even in case of lacerations due to adverse meteorological/marine conditions, our company can provide the maintenance needed and give advice for the small repairs.
USES
AR/70, for its technical characteristics, can satisfy, with a balanced quality to price ratio, the needs of the oil, fishing (fish farming, hatcheries), chemical and petrochemical industry. The operating product looks like an actual floating fence able to protect from oils and hydrocarbons, but can be put to excellent use as a boom for floating waste. The boom usually comes in orange, but can also be built in other colors for specific uses.
