Aquatic - Tubular Chamber
The Tubular Chamber is used for analysing plankton samples with an inverted microscope. The Tubular Chamber allows you to sediment the plankton prior to analysis, preventing any alteration of the sample.
How to use it
The chamber is screwed into the ring, holding the 0.2mm-thick glass “Coverslip Circle”. Pour the sample and position the round cover, preventing bubbles inside the chamber.
Base Ring for Tubular Chamber, made of AISI 316 stainless steel. It has a high precision inner thread so that the threaded tubular chamber can be attached.
The bottom part of the ring is designed to attach to a inverted microscope (42mmØ).
Manufactured in acrylic to contain 5ml, 10ml or 25ml, with a tolerance of +/- 0.3ml.
This volume is only obtained when you work with our base ring, threaded tubular chamber and glass coverslip circle together.
Includes everything necessary to carry out this method.
