Direct contact heat exchanger/Ceramic block heat media is regenerative after-burning – also known as regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO), which is used to destroy Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odorous emissions etc. Utilize ceramic regenerators to preheat incoming process air, retain heat or combustion air in order to lower operating costs1.
