Ceramic honeycomb also called regenerator that recovers the heat of the purified gases which widely used in regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO). RTOs use a structured ceramic heat transfer block that controls VOC emissions and other chemical emissions at high-destruction efficiencies with low-energy consumption and minimal maintenance. High temperature ceramic media that recovers up to 97% of the energy generated from the high temperature oxidation process.Ceramic heat storage media are used for heat recovery. Typical applications are thermal exhaust gas cleaning units that depend on regenerative afterburning, thermal regenerators for process gases, and renewable power generation, which is used to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odorous emissions etc.
Ceramic blocks as heat storage body, by the advantage of large specific surface area, small heat resistance, good thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance, realize quickly exchanging heat, reducing energy in the strict sense (up to 97% of true thermal energy can be recovery).
