Ariel - Model JGJ -Medium-Sized Separable Reciprocating Compressor
The Ariel JGJ is a medium-sized separable reciprocating compressor, well suited for gas gathering on moderate-sized wells. The JGJ is particularly effective for fuel-gas boosting applications and is often paired with electric motors as well as natural gas engines. The JGJ packs considerable horsepower into a high-speed, short-stroke unit. Providing a large rod load relative to its size, the JGJ has become a mainstay in the fuel gas booster market because of its well-earned reliability.
Efficient Valves
Plate-type valves are designed for modern speeds, utilizing non-metallic sealing elements as standard. Valves are selected to comply with established low-valve velocity standards.
Precision Bearing Shells
Every Ariel compressor features main and connecting rod bearings that are precision-machined with tri-metal composition.
Rigid Connecting Rods
The JGJ compressor features durable connecting rods manufactured from forged steel with four bolts and a heavy-duty "I" section.
- Gray Iron Crankcase: Forged steel crankshaft, gray iron crosshead guide, bronze thrust bearing, tri-metal main bearing
- Ductile Iron Crosshead: Alloy steel crosshead pin
- Forged Steel Connecting Rod: Bronze crosshead pin bushing, tri-metal connecting rod bearing, grade 8 stress bolts
Ariel produces versatile cylinders that can be utilized over wide pressure ranges without compromise by using valves that effectively balance reliability and performance. For each compressor frame size, Ariel`s lineup of cylinders can fully utilize that frame`s horsepower and rod load capabilities. Cylinders can be combined in hundreds of different configurations to deliver the precise volume and pressure of gas required.
