Arpak - Packaged Domestic Wastewater Treatment Unit
Arpak is a continuous activated carbon sludge system (CAS) and has many superiorities over systems designed as sequencing batch reactors (SBR). Activated sludge is completely mixed and affectively aerated by fine bubble diffusers.
Wastewater is contionusly fed to arpak® that helps,
- Lowering the oxygen demand and saving energy,
- Preventing the odor problem,
- The biology to be more consistent and save against wastewater fluctuations and unexpected variations.
From the aeration basin the mixed liquor goes to the settling thank to allow gravity separtion of the MLSS form the treated wastewater. Settled sludge is then recycled to the aeration tank to maintain a constant amount of microbial population for degradation of influent. Waste sludge is collected in sludge digestion chamber and stabilized in aerobic conditions.
arpak® is a compact wastewater treatment plant and contains benefit and functions of a large scale plant.
