Ashtead Technology - ROV pH Probe
The Ashtead Technology ROV pH probe is an ROV-operated tool designed to measure pH levels during subsea cementing applications. The pH sensor is made up of a double diaphragm reference system containing two glass electrodes for accurate pH measurements. The sensor is connected to Ashtead Technology’s bespoke subsea data processor which calculates the pH value and outputs the data as a serial feed to the ROV.
The pH probe is depth rated to 6,000m and is manufactured from non-corrosive, lightweight materials to ensure reliability and longevity of operation. The probe comes complete with a robust T-Handle for use subsea with an ROV manipulator.
Power and data are supplied to the ROV through a subsea wet-mate connector. The system is powered with a 24V input from the ROV.
The Ashtead Technology pH probe is supplied with its own Windows PC software which allows the user to calibrate the probe prior to deployment and monitor the live readings during the operation. Within the software application, the user can set alarm thresholds, review the live data in graphical form and log data in a time stamped file format.
