The material is heat treated to make the bolts with 110ksi minimum tensile strength. The ASTM A193 B6 Stud Bolts have carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon and 11.5% - 13.5% chromium. The material is heat treated, quenched and tempered to 593 degree Celsius. The material grade includes fasteners with diameters up to M100. The Sa193 Gr B6 fasteners have minimum 760MPa tensile strength and 585MPa minimum yield strength. The elongation is 15% and the hardness varies. The fasteners of the Asme Sa 193 B6 have excellent corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, strength, durability and long lasting life.
