AVES Airport - Bird Strike Prevention System
The AVES Airport system leverages advanced AI-based technology to enhance aviation safety by effectively mitigating the risks of bird strikes during aircraft takeoffs and landings. This system is engineered to automatically detect and sustainably deter birds from entering sensitive airport areas. Utilizing precise sensors and AI-driven tracking software, it effectively handles both solitary birds and entire flocks. Its acoustic module, coupled with intelligent camera technology, ensures targeted deterrence. Additional features include comprehensive monitoring capabilities across different lighting conditions, simultaneous tracking of up to 256 birds per camera, and avoiding habituation through event-triggered deterrence. The system offers fully automated operation via an ADS-B receiver and supports automated event documentation and analysis, along with a web-based interface and an optional AI module for species identification.
Using cutting-edge AI-based technology, we protect aircraft during takeoff and landing from bird strikes. AVES Airport was developed to automatically detect birds and sustainably deter them from sensitive and protected areas. Thanks to the precise sensors and AI-based tracking software used, it is possible to deter both individual birds and entire flocks. The highly efficient acoustic module, combined with intelligent AI-driven camera technology, enables targeted and lasting deterrence.
