It is powered by a highly efficient outer pole motor. To protect the motor from scalding, the fan has internal contacts with outwardly routed wires for connection to a motor protection. Motor is cooled because it is placed in the air stream. Controllable by means of transformer and star / triangle arrangement.

This fan has a high efficiency, excellent noise level and is maintenance-free and reliable. It is manufactured from galvanized steel and then black powder coated (RAL9005). Comes with protective grille (sizes 200-630), for larger models (sizes 710-1000) it is an accessory.

• Square wall plate made of galvanized steel and powder coated in black (RAL9005)
• Size 200-630 with protection guard at the inlet side, powder coated in black
• For size 710-1000 the protection guard for inlet side is available as an accessory
• Speed controllable external rotor motors
• Axial impeller made of black high efficiency composite material (size 200 - 450-K) or black coated pressure die cast aluminum (size 450 - 1000) with energetically optimized blade geometry
• The size 300E2 has a sickle bladed impeller made of black coated sheet metal
• Speed controllable by voltage reduction or 2-step operation by D/Y switching for 3~/400V versions
• Integrated thermal contacts for motor protection, with leads to be connected to a motor protection unit
