At the heart of the Axios range is PANalytical’s SST-mAX X-ray tube. Incorporating our unique ZETA Technology, the SST-mAX eliminates the largest source of instrument drift common to all XRF systems. This leads to a dramatic reduction in the frequency of drift correction and re-calibration measurements, thereby maximizing  system uptime. CHI-BLUE tube window coating technology is available on all tubes for ultimate robustness and corrosion resistance. The SST-mAX50 tube combines ZETA Technology with a 50 µm thin window and CHI-BLUE coating technology, which makes it worlds most advanced analytical X-ray tube, ideally suited for light element analysis. The spectrometers show an unprecedented dynamic range, using our Hi-Per Scint detector.
