Azim-Tav - Munters Flap Air Intakes
Munters flap air intakes are specially designed for fresh air infusion by being mounted on a wall in buildings that contain livestock.
The critical time for ventilation in buildings containing livestock is the cold periods required to ventilate buildings (often referred to as minimum ventilation) to provide fresh air to animals without causing cold air flow. The only way to effectively achieve minimum ventilation is to direct the cold fresh air through the ceiling of the building so that the cold fresh air is thoroughly mixed with the hot air in the building before replacing the stale air in the area where the animals are located. If the minimum ventilation is not effective, it may lead to fatal consequences due to accumulation of toxic gases such as ammonia or carbon dioxide or decrease in oxygen level in the building. Another common problem with inadequate minimum ventilation is that cold weather draughts over the animals, the base grass moistens and the animal behaviors deteriorate. The IW air intakes are designed to maintain a healthy environment without compromising the normal behavior of the animals, thereby achieving the minimum aeration perfectly. In the warmer periods, ventilation becomes even more important in removing heat and cooling the animals . In these cases, the air entering the building is directed downwards towards the animals and cooled by the wind to remove the heat from the animals` skin. IW can be adjusted to provide air access to animals.
