Polyethylene / polypropylene bags: A distinction is made between polyethylene bags according to HDPE bags (high density PE) and LDPE bags (low density PE). The low-density films are transparent, supple, stretchable and crease-resistant, while the high-density films are milky-cloudy, stable, cold-resistant, and can be sterilized. Polypropylene (PP), on the other hand, is used when greater resistance to heat and cold is required. PP is relatively resistant to oils and fats in its chemical relationship.
