BT-50: More Than a Barcode Terminal

A Walk-Away Concept in Haematology

  • Automated Start-Up: The auto start-up process of the XR-9000/XN-9100 automation line can be started 30 minutes before the specified time. QC analysis can then be initiated automatically after the system starts.
  • Automated QC Handling: With the XN Check Controls on board the BT-50’s integrated cooler unit, the lab can schedule an automated QC measurement in the analytical modules. Should the remaining tests in a vial are insufficient, a second vial is automatically taken from the cooler. If no second vial is available, an alert is triggered.
  • Automated Cleaning: Autocleaning of the analytical units is possible with the onboard CellClean Auto in the BT-50. Cleaning can be flexibly scheduled at any date, time and on specific XR/XN module. Additional cleaning cycles outside of the set schedule or based on the number of measurements may also be automatically triggered.
  • Automated Shutdown: This function of the BT-50 is highly flexible with an option of shutting down the whole automation line (XR-9000/ XN-9100) or selected Sysmex analyser after cleaning. A shutdown of the BT-50 itself is also possible.
