Transport Medium is intended to stabilize viruses and chlaymdiae. It suppresses microbial contamination during transport of clinical specimens. 3ml of transport medium in a 15 ml conical centrifuge tube. Allows specimen collection, transport, and processing in the same container. Transport tube contains glass beads to aid in the disruption of patient cells in the specimen. Manufactured in the USA. USFDA Certified. Can be combined with a specimen bag and swab for a kit.
