BaseDrum - Model 15 -Drum Filter System

This drum filter is robust, reliable, and equally suitable for use in aquaculture, ponds, or aquariums. Its operation is simple and efficient at the same time. The sewage water flows into the filter drum and the dirt particles remain in the filter fabric, increasing the flow resistance. As a result, the water level inside the drum rises (pump mode) or decreases outside the drum (gravity mode). These changes are detected by a sensor, which starts the cleaning process. An electromotor turns the drum and several high pressure nozzles flush the dirt from the filter fabric. The highly concentrated wastewater leaves the drum on the rear side of the filter.


The whole cleaning process is uniquely programmable via the installed control box. A visual inspection of the level indicators inside and outside the drum is possible at all times. It is not necessary to open the filter.The outlet water can be further processed through a biological filter if necessary.  The filter fabric of the BaseDrum has a standard mesh size of 60 microns. Other mesh sizes can be incorporated if needed.
