With a 24-inch by 60-inch mill opening, the Model 2680XP can easily handle waste wood, plastic, rubber, roofing shingles and more. Opt for the special “big mouth” feature and the Model 2680XP’s mill opening increases to 35 inches, giving it exceptional capability for its size. Engine options up to 800 horsepower quickly convert logging slash, chunk wood, bark, construction waste, tree waste, limbs and chips into a high-quality mulch, all while delivering class-leading fuel economy and performance.
The heart of The Beast Model 2680XP is the patented 60-tooth cuttermill. Whereas most horizontal grinders have a mill that turns up, The Beast mill turns down, processing material at the base as opposed to fighting against gravity at the top. The patented design processes material with more of a cutting action as opposed to grinding, delivering greater machine efficiency while producing a better end-product. A very broad range of tooth and screen options are available to fine-tune the end-product for specific markets, or add the Colorizer to produce top-quality colored mulch for landscaping.
