The FreeZone 4.5 Liter Benchtop Freeze Dryer is specifically engineered for lyophilizing light to moderate sample quantities. Its compact form factor is advantageous for laboratories constrained by limited floor space, while its upright stainless steel collector coil accommodates up to 4.5 liters of ice before necessitating defrosting. Equipped with dual 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration units, it is capable of cooling the collector to -84° C, making it suitable for samples with low eutectic points, such as acetonitrile. The system integrates Lyo-Works™ OS, offering real-time monitoring via a 5-inch full-color capacitive touchscreen, displaying collector temperature, vacuum levels, and supporting optional End-Zone™ end point detection. Models featuring PTFE-coated collectors for handling corrosive substances are available. Additionally, the Lyovapor L-200 model introduces Infinite-Control™, enabling advanced sublimation process automation and remote accessibility through mobile devices.
