CETCO - Bentonite Tablets

CETCO TABLETS are designed for use in the groundwater monitoring industry to form a chemically resilient, low-permeability, flexible seal. CETCO TABLETS isolate screened intervals of monitoring wells and provide an excellent seal for abandoned boreholes. 1/4” (0.63 cm) CETCO TABLETS are ideal for tight annular spaces, while 3/8” (0.95 cm) and 1/2” (1.27 cm) CETCO TABLETS are useful for larger boreholes.

• Chemically stable. Results from EP Toxicity Metals Analysis are below RCRA limits for hazardous constituents
• Will swell to 10 to 15 times their dry volume when hydrated with freshwater
• Self-sealing; remain flexible when saturated and will re-hydrate
• Permeability range of 1 x 10-7 to 1 x 10-9 cm/sec

For shallow applications, add CETCO TABLETS slowly and steadily to prevent blocking and bridging. For deep applications, CETCO TABLETS may be tremied into place. CETCO TABLETS are added and water or air is pumped down the tremie pipe, delivering the CETCO TABLETS to the desired depth quickly and accurately.
