We build and supply bespoke Bifurcated Fans and are based in the UK For more information Call us on 01457 832 724 The Airtec range of bifurcated fans designed for handling contaminated air, gases, fumes, and smoke in four temperature ranges.Casings: Heavy duty, fully welded steel construction for in-duct mounting. The divided f low casing provides a built-in compartment isolating the motor from heat or contaminants in the air stream. The motor compartments on the higher temperature types incorporate additional calcium silicate board insulation to protect the motor.

Impellers
Direct driven impellers in diameters from 175mm to 1200mm. The two lower temperature models offer blades cast in aluminium silicon alloy with adjustable pitch for optimum performance. The two higher temperature models include fabricated steel impellers with fixed pitch blades; the pitch being selected to suit the particular application. lmpellers in special materials are also available.

Bifurcated fan Motors
Totally enclosed fan cooled, squirrel cage induction motors. All motors comply with latest European standards with minimum specification lP54 Class F or B insulation used throughout the range. Flameproof motors can be fitted to size 250mm and larger. ln all high temperature applications care should be taken not to impede natural ventilation of the motor compartment.

Fan Type NT
To handle gases up to 90oC. Mild steel casing. Standard finishes hammer finish paint or hot-dip galvanised Epoxy/Chlorinated rubber finish on request.

Fan Type HT
ATo handle gases up lo 215oC. Mild steel casing. Standard finish hot-dip galvanised.

Fan Type EHT
To handle gases up to 31soC for extended periods. Mild steel casing. Standard finish heat-resistant aluminium paint.

Smoke Extract Fans (SE)
While smoke extract applications up to 300oC can be handled by the standard EHT type, the unique SE range, by incorporating additional insulation and other features, has been designed to handle gases at 400oC for two hours. Mild steel casing. Standard finish heat-resistant aluminium paint.
