Bilgeri EnvironTec - Model SU -Spraying Unit
During operation of digesters, sludge islands floating on the surface of the digested sludge or the formation of entire floating layers can occur under certain circumstances.
The EnvironTec spraying unit can be used to effectively combat the formation of floating layers without opening the tank, with the aim of propelling the floating layer fragments to the removal device by means of a water jet. The water jet (80 l/min at 4 bar) of the spray nozzle with 120° spray angle can be freely rotated and swiveled thanks to the ball joint design. As the work can be observed simultaneously from the outside through the EnvironTec inspection glass, it is not necessary to open the gas compartment of the reactor.
The ball spray nozzle can also be used to combat foam. All metal parts are made of stainless steel, the ball joint is made of durable plastic.
