The original metroSTOR PBM is an iconic product, highly successful in operation wherever the ubiquitous 4 wheeled bin is in use, enclosing and controlling access to the waste stream deposits. Now in its 3rd generation; improved usability, more effective recycling with a greater choice of standard and retro fit apertures, revised access control options and a wider range of cladding finishes establish metroSTOR PBM as the king of bin storage solutions.
With operational feedback ever the driver for design development, metroSTOR PBM is currently produced in 4 product series ensuring there is a unit that efficiently accommodates the bin type in use by your organisation. metroSTOR PBMN is designed for 660L units, metroSTOR PBMC accommodates the taller Chamberlain 720L and 940L ‘chute’ bins and metroSTOR PBMT the commonly used Taylor 1100 Continental. Where a variety of bin types are used and footprint is not the primary concern, the standard metroSTOR PBM can take all 4 wheeled bins from 770L – 1280L capacity with a spacer bar fitted internally to keep the bin close to the loading aperture.
metroSTOR PBM has always offered class leading levels of adjustment in unit ground fixings points for slopes and varying site conditions reducing expenditure on enabling groundworks. The 2019 model takes this advantage further with metroSTOR base plinth design accommodating permanent fixing to the majority of firm and stable substrates without additional foundations.
metroSTOR products are manufactured to ISO9001:2008, ISO14001 and BS EN 1090 CE Marking designed and manufactured for long life. The all-steel frame is Hot-Dip Galvanised to BS EN 1461.
Relocatable as site requirements change over time. metroSTOR base plinth design enables swift and economical installation on uneven surfaces.
A highly configurable lock case accommodates latch only, lock or deadlock with key management and keypad options.
Specify from 5 aperture options for specific waste and recycling streams; cardboard only, bottles only, bagged recyclables, non-bagged recyclables and general waste.
Unit cladding panels are recyclable at the end of product life and metroSTOR PBM steel frame can be factory refurbished with replacement cladding and fittings as site conditions dictate.
