BinMaster - Model BMRX-300 -Rotary Level Indicator

BinMaster’s BMRX-300 rotary level switch is the first to feature a highly-visible, built-in LED indicator light. Easily seen from a distance, the bright LED changes from green to red when the paddle stops turning when the bin is full or empty.

The BinMaster BMRX-300 rotary level indicator is used in solids and powders to prevent overfills, dry runs, or process shutdowns. It has an onboard PCB and DPDT relays that allow users to set up two switching outputs, such as one to a covered and the other to an uncovered condition.
Fail-safe operation, self-diagnostics, and immediate and corrective response to failures distinguish the BMRX-300 as the best rotary for process control. Its red LED light visually alerts to fault, covered, or rotating status conditions.
The BMRX-300 rotary level indicator power pac features a screw-off cover, 3/4" NPT dual conduit entries, and an FDA-recognized powder coat finish.
Once installed, the enclosure can be rotated. This unique feature makes it easy to ensure conduit entries are always pointed toward the ground, mitigating the risk of moisture damaging internal components. New wire guides also ensure wires don’t get stuck as you push them through conduit entries.
By alerting to full and empty vessel conditions, it prevents waste and saves time when handling bulk materials stored in bins and silos. It’s designed for materials with a bulk density of 2 lb. to over 100 lb./ft.³ for use in ordinary storage and processing conditions.

There are other configurations of BMRX rotaries available with a variety of 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" aluminum and stainless-steel process connections. Rotary Level Indicator with Built-in LED Indicator Light
The BMRX-300 rotary level switch is equipped with a prominent LED indicator light built into its design. The vibrant LED transitions between green and red, signaling the paddle`s movement status and indicating when the bin is full or empty.
Highly visible LED indicator
The LED light is integrated into the lid of the rotary, eliminating the need for additional wiring to an external light source. When the BMRX-300 is affixed to the side of the vessel, the bright green or red light remains visible from a distance of up to 100 feet.
Green = Turning, Red = Stopped
During paddle rotation, the LED light shines green. When the paddle is stopped by material accumulation, a relay activates to signify a status change, causing the light to switch to red.
De-energized Motor State
When the paddle is covered and stops turning, the motor de-energizes. This protects the motor from unnecessary wear-and-tear to ensure a long service life.

The BMRX-300 distinguishes itself as an exceptional rotary for process control with its fail-safe operation, including self-diagnostics and immediate corrective responses to failures. The LED light serves as a visual indicator for faults, covered conditions, or rotating status.
Dual switching outputs
Featuring a DPDT relay, the BMRX-300 enables users to configure two switching outputs. This versatile switch can control two separate circuits and offers two location options for each circuit. For instance, one output can be designated for a covered condition, while the other corresponds to an uncovered condition.
Enclosure defies moisture
To safeguard internal components from moisture and prolong service life, the bright red enclosure of the BMRX-300 rotates to direct conduit entries downward upon installation. This design ensures protection against environmental factors and enhances the device`s durability.
