As a result of many years of R&D and extensive experience withpolyethylene extrusion techniques, Small Boss has developed astructured filter media. The media has proven extremely efficient in biological treatmentof domestic sewage, industrial wastewater and process waterwithin aquaculture industry. The media is made from the environmentally friendly materialpolyethylene and consists of net tubes, which are welded togetherto form a square block. The unique surface structure of the manynet tubes provides a large accessible surface area for enhancedbiological growth on the filter media.
