BioFix Grease in block form is a microbiological treatment specifically designed for the breakdown and removal of grease in commercial grease traps, pipelines, and wastewater treatment systems. These blocks gradually dissolve over a span of 30 days, releasing beneficial bacteria that tackle organic wastes such as fats, oils, and greases (FOG), as well as fruit and vegetable residues, sugars, starches, and proteins. This eco-friendly formula effectively reduces both Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). Depending on the capacity of the grease trap, the appropriate block size can range from 1 lb for 100-200 gallon grease traps to 10 lbs for 1000-2000 gallon grease traps, all processing within 2-4 weeks. Application (Grease Traps): Removing the grease trap cover. Then tightening bacteria to submerge. Depending on the size of the grease trap:
1 lb Block: 100 – 200 gallons grease trap, processed from 2-4 weeks.
2 lb Block: 200 – 500 gallons grease trap, processed from 2-4 weeks.
5 lb Block: 500 – 1000 gallons grease trap, processed from 2-4 weeks.
10 lb Block: 1000-2000 gallons grease trap, processed from 2-4 weeks.
