Biofilter and its technology
In a Biofilter, the contaminated airflow is sent through a humidifier and then to a bed of biological material where naturally occurring micro-organisms breakdown the contaminants into carbon dioxide and water.

The process cycle is similar to that which occurs in nature, but in the Biofilter the process is optimised and the purification process is extremely efficient.

The biological purification process does not create unwanted by-products or substances detrimental to the ecological system.
