6.7 mL reagent for extraction of ATP from bacterial and mammalian cells. Extractant B/S is used for the extraction of ATP from bacterial and mammalian cells. It is a strong extractant and is suitable for use with all bacterial cells and most types of other cells. It rapidly neutralizes all ATPases. To avoid degradation of luciferases the ATP Reagent should be reconstituted in Diluent B to neutralize the extractant.
