The Bitcarrier technology works in three steps: data collection, information processing and visualization of data.
It uses a 2.4GHz frequency band and scans the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals emitted by mobile devices such as cell phones, GPS navigators, hands-free kits etc. The system makes use of anonymous data from signals captured in order to provide information related to traffic flow in various environments, thus allowing to analyze and manage traffic more efficiently.
