NYLATRON sheaves reduce crown and cable wear. Weight is one seventh (1/7) the weight of equivalent sized sheaves. NYLATRON is a high strength cast nylon containing fine particles of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), a solid lubricant; the increased lubricity aids in extending cable life.

COUNTERBALANCING keeps the sheave coplanar with the cable regardless of ship roll, pitch, and yaw under trawling/towing operations.

Available configurations: Counterbalanced, fairlead (non-counterbalanced) for reduced overall weight and height. Instrumented blocks to provide remote reading of cable payout and rate.
