Blue-Earth - Model Filter Fit -Algae Remover for Water Treatment Plant

BENEFITS: Filter Fit is far superior to traditional acidic surface cleaning products in removing biological and mineral deposits.
Filter Fit treatment can greatly delay re-formation of deposits. Benefits include restoration of fouled or scaled surfaces, elimination of surface-borne chlorine demand and removal of unsightly stains.

DESCRIPTION: Filter Fit is an advanced chemical cleaner used to remove surface deposits from filtration basins, troughs, clarifiers
and other accessible water treatment plant surfaces. Filter Fit is not a potable water treatment product and therefore cannot be injected into potable water. It is specially formulated to remove scale and algae buildups as well as
potassium permanganate stains.

APPLICATION: For surface cleaning, Filter Fit is used in conjunction with Floran Catalyst® (packaged separately). Add Floran  Catalyst at a 1:10 ratio. The mixture is sprayed on and rinsed off after 5-30 minutes of reaction time. The device can be
returned to service after local disinfection requirements are satisfied. Note: higher concentrations of Floran Catalyst
and light scrubbing with a sponge may improve results.

STORAGE: Filter Fit and Floran Catalyst are stored separately. After mixing, activity is stable for 12 hours. Do not store mixed product, it will become unstable. Filter Fit can be stored for 12 months in a ventilated, covered location. Floran Catalyst is stable for 6 months when protected from heat and direct sunlight.

DISPOSAL: Runoff generated during the cleaning procedure and leftover chemical can be neutralized with caustic soda and
discharged to the sewer or a sludge lagoon. Specific local disposal requirements may apply.

SAFETY: Filter Fit is NSF certified for cleaning of drinking water facilities. The product is moderately corrosive. Filter Fit is compatible with most surfaces found in water treatment and storage facilities. It does not generate toxic or unpleasant fumes. Protection from inhalation of mist and skin and eye contact is required.
