Our 40 horsepower Auger Compactors are ideal for crushing and compacting wood, wood crates, wood pallets and bulky waste such as sofas, tables and other furniture. Augers remove the airspace from these wood materials more effectively than ram compactors, and at lower cost than a shredder, by crushing and compacting simultaneously. Our Auger Compactors are also excellent for cardboard recycling. Auger Cardboard Compactors require less labor to operate than a baler and are faster than ram compactors. Our 40 hp Auger Compactor has a large charge chamber for easy loading of wood pallets, furniture or cardboard. If feeding the Auger by chute, this large charge chamber allows for a large chute, which helps minimize cardboard jamming. Our direct-drive all-electric Auger Compactor drivetrain requires less maintenance, and is cleaner than hydraulic balers and ram compactors.
