BMT - Model BDRT -Dynamic Retort Technology

BMT innovated the kiln in-house using cutting edge technologies with the goal of improving heat transfer into the mercury and NORM contaminated material, resulting in a more efficient process. The kiln is fully compatible with BMT vacuum distillation technology.

These cutting edge technologies were co-developed with a German specialist in chemical plant kilns.

The kiln is:

• More sustainable – less human exposure to mercury contaminated material during the treatment process
• Faster –reduction in cycle time through semi-automatic loading and unloading
• More efficient – reduced energy consumption and re-use of energy released by the process
