Bombas - Model BAL-D -Positive Displacement Vane Pumps with Two Mechanical Seals
Positive displacement vane pump designed especially to transfer liquid fuels into tanker lorries. Its double axle outlet makes it very versatile. It can be made reversible simply by changing the power take-off (turns clockwise and anti-clockwise). The watertightness of the liquid being transferred is ensured by two mechanical seals.
The vane pumps by Bombas TRIEF are comprised of a slotted rotor mounted eccentrically on a body with a rectangular vane (with canals) on each slot.
Each vane is propelled by a bolt so that the edges of the vanes brush against the interior of the body creating a watertight chamber between them. The volume of this watertight chamber varies from zero to the maximum, and then empties again completely with just one turn of the rotor.
As a special characteristic, our vanes are self-adjusting, they come out of the slot of the rotor automatically to compensate for the wear done to them, maintaining the volumetric efficiency.
The BAL family of pumps by Bombas TRIEF are perfectly adapted to lorry services and transport in general, loading and unloading tankers, storing fuels and any other non-corrosive liquid with no solids in suspension.
The transfer is fast, uniform and silent, with a regime of 740 revolutions per minute maximum. These pumps provide many and varied combinations of pumping.
- The pumps in the BAL family are used by our customers to transfer the following fluids:
