Brindley Chains Ltd was established in 1984 by John Brindley as the sole UK importer and distributor for pewag products. Pewag are one of Europe’s largest and most advanced chain makers, and together we have formed a formidable partnership which is not only well known, but well respected throughout the industry. Pewag’s manufacturing plants are state of the art and production is monitored by a stringent quality control system, which is approved by many major authorities including Det Norske Veritas and the Deutche Berufsgenossenschaft, and they are certified to ISO 9001. Pewag have been making chain in Austria since the eighteenth century and produce a wide range of chain products. They are represented on all major international standard committees relevant to lifting gear, and they have their own subsidiaries in many European countries, the USA and Southern Africa, and are represented in all main industrial countries around the world.
