BRT - Metal Transportation Bunds

Design

• Full capacity bunds + 25%, height> 800 mm compliant with the regulations.
• Galvanised or stainless steel.
• Lifting accessories for empty handling.

Options

• Drain valve sealed in closed position, equipped with plug and safety chain.
• Galvanised steel grid to raise the transformer.
• External bars to stow the assembly on the heavy-duty vehicle.

Installation

• The transformer is hooked up to a crane boom and lowered into the bund placed on the ground, beside the heavy-duty vehicle.
• The bund is then fastened onto the transformer by a set of (provided) straps and the assembly is then fastened on the heavy-duty vehicle.
• It is handled with the lifting eyebolts of the transformer rather than the bund.
• During storms, a cover can be placed over the assembly to protect it during transport and outdoor storage.
