BTE’s bridge solutions include several innovative machines and attachments for making bridge repair or refurbishment faster, safer, and less expensive. The BTE-308 with roller rail clamps is the ideal sized machine for bridge work. The BTE-308 utilizes the BTE Tie Talon and BTE TrackJack to quickly replace ties. The TrackJack eliminates the need to have to jack the rail by hand and manually place blocking timber under the rails to keep them off ties while changing out ties. Instead, the TrackJack does all that work mechanically, controlled from the operator’s cab, eliminating all the manual labor and
keeping the gang safely off the bridge.
The BTE Hi-Rail Skid Steer (HRSS) uses an E-Clip Applicator attachment to apply four clips simultaneously. With the BTE Bridge Drill attachment, the BTE HRSS can drill holes in bridge timbers for J-Hook and lag screw installation, replacing the need for drilling holes by hand and keeping workers off the bridge.
